So the countdown is on.
On the 1st of November I am due to leave these shores on a long and exciting voyage.
Madrid will be my first port of call where I will be spending the night before getting a flight to equador.
I took this picture the last time that I was in Madrid but don't think that I'll have time to see the sun this time.
